PIVOTCORE TECHNOLOGY™

ZERO GIVE™ / PIVOTCORE TECHNOLOGY™

Your foot is not a tube. Your sock shouldn’t be either.

PivotCore™ is a five-zone anatomical compression and grip system engineered to help your foot, sock and boot move as one connected unit.

More than grip

Grip is only useful when the sock beneath it stays stable. PivotCore™ coordinates fit, compression, support and traction around the anatomy of each foot.

01

Forefoot Drive Zone

Targeted plantar grip is positioned under the areas that load during acceleration, braking and changes of direction.

02

Midfoot Control Zone

A structured knit helps reduce excess fabric movement through the center of the foot without relying on a heavy cotton base.

03

Lycra® Foot Lock Zone

High-stretch Lycra® support follows the arch and wraps the midfoot to create a closer, more responsive fit during repeated multidirectional movement.

04

Heel Lock Zone

Grip and compression work around the rear foot to help limit unwanted movement where the foot meets the boot.

05

Calf Compression Zone

Graduated compression and the PivotCore spine support a secure transition from ankle to calf while preserving a below-calf profile.

Lycra® Foot & Ankle Lock

One continuous lock from foot to ankle.

The Lycra® Foot & Ankle Lock wraps the arch, heel and lower ankle as a connected support structure. The Achilles Lock Panel reinforces the rear connection—an area where small movements can make the entire sock feel unstable.

Anatomical by design

Right means right. Left means left.

Every pair has a dedicated right and left sock. That allows the support, grip and compression zones to follow the actual shape and loading pattern of the intended foot.

12–20 mmHgGraduated performance compression
DX / SXDedicated right and left construction
Zero cottonDesigned to manage moisture and retain shape
Three sizesThree dedicated fit options

Material system

Light. Dry. Structured.

No cotton. No thick terry sole pretending to be performance technology.

ZERO GIVE™ uses a technical blend of approximately 73–75% polyamide/nylon, 20% Lycra® and 7% Coolmax® to balance compression, stretch, moisture management and shape retention.

The result is a close-fitting performance layer designed to stay light through training and match play.

The PivotCore difference

Not a standard sock with dots added.

Construction Typical generic grip sock ZERO GIVE™ PivotCore™
Foot shape One symmetrical tube Anatomical right and left
Support General elastic tension Five coordinated performance zones
Compression Often unspecified 12–20 mmHg graduated compression
Foot and ankle control Standard heel pocket or isolated elastic band Lycra® Foot & Ankle Lock plus Achilles reinforcement
Material approach Commonly cotton-heavy Nylon/Lycra®/Coolmax®; no cotton
Grip placement Repeated dots across the sole Grip positioned around functional loading zones

ZERO GIVE™ vs. the category

Good grip socks solve slipping. PivotCore™ solves the system.

TRUsox, Apex, Gain The Edge and HAVO all approach foot-to-boot movement differently. PivotCore™ brings the key performance elements together in one anatomical system.

Brand Their published approach Why ZERO GIVE™ is different
TRUsox® 3.0 IN//EX™ pads grip both the skin-facing and boot-facing sides. Published material listings include approximately 39% cotton. PivotCore™ uses no cotton and does not depend on internal rubberized pads against the skin. It adds anatomical right/left construction, five coordinated zones, a Lycra® Foot & Ankle Lock and specified 12–20 mmHg graduated compression.
APEX PRO 3.0 / ELITE-1 ExoFrame structure, external grip technology and anatomical fit. The upcoming ELITE-1 publishes 12–18 mmHg compression and three sizes. ZERO GIVE™ combines a published 12–20 mmHg compression range with three sizes, dedicated right/left socks, a no-cotton Coolmax® blend, five anatomical performance zones and a Lycra® Foot & Ankle Lock reinforced at the Achilles. PivotCore’s advantage is the complete integrated system, not compression strength alone.
Gain The Edge® 2.0 Value-focused grip socks promoted around general traction, breathability, comfort and broad ergonomic shaping. PivotCore™ publishes the details: exact compression range, technical material blend, anatomical right/left construction and named functional zones. Players can see what the technology is and where it works.
HAVO® Woven NanoGrip yarn with a Figure-8 ankle and arch support structure, designed to avoid raised rubber dots. ZERO GIVE™ combines targeted plantar grip with graduated 12–20 mmHg compression, five anatomical zones, dedicated right/left construction and a Lycra® Foot & Ankle Lock with Achilles reinforcement.

The ZERO GIVE™ advantage

Others sell a grip feature. PivotCore™ coordinates the entire performance layer: traction under the foot, the Lycra® Foot & Ankle Lock through the arch and lower ankle, control around the heel, reinforcement at the Achilles and graduated compression into the calf.

ZERO GIVE™ is not positioned as the stickiest sock. It is built to be the more complete anatomical compression grip system.

Grip where your foot hits hardest.

Frequently asked questions

Know what touches your foot.

What is PivotCore™ technology?

PivotCore™ is ZERO GIVE’s five-zone system combining anatomical right and left construction, targeted grip, structured support and graduated compression. It is designed to help stabilize the foot inside the sock and boot during soccer-specific movement.

Are ZERO GIVE™ socks different for the right and left foot?

Yes. Each pair contains a dedicated right and left sock so its functional zones align with the intended foot. Look for the DX and SX markings before putting them on.

How much compression does PivotCore™ provide?

PivotCore™ socks are designed with 12–20 mmHg graduated compression. The fit should feel firm and supportive. Select the correct size and discontinue use if the sock causes pain, numbness or discoloration.

Why does ZERO GIVE™ use no cotton?

Cotton absorbs and retains moisture and can lose structure when wet. ZERO GIVE™ uses a technical nylon, Lycra® and Coolmax® blend designed to manage moisture, stretch and recover while maintaining a close fit.

What is the Lycra® Foot & Ankle Lock?

It is PivotCore’s continuous high-stretch support structure around the arch, heel and lower ankle. Lycra® provides controlled stretch and recovery, while Achilles reinforcement supports the rear connection to help the sock remain secure during multidirectional movement.

How is ZERO GIVE™ different from TRUsox, Apex, Gain The Edge and HAVO?

Each competitor has a different strength: TRUsox is known for internal/external grip pads, Apex for ExoFrame construction, Gain The Edge for accessible general-purpose grip and HAVO for woven NanoGrip yarn. ZERO GIVE™ combines dedicated right/left anatomy, five functional zones, a Lycra® Foot & Ankle Lock with Achilles reinforcement, three sizes, a no-cotton technical blend and published 12–20 mmHg graduated compression in one PivotCore™ system.

Do grip socks make you faster?

No sock can create speed on its own. PivotCore™ is designed to reduce unwanted movement and improve the feeling of connection between the foot and boot, helping the player use their existing movement more consistently.

How should I wash ZERO GIVE™ grip socks?

Machine wash cold with similar colors. Do not bleach or use fabric softener. Air dry. Avoid direct heat, which can damage elastic fibers and grip components.

ZERO GIVE™

The first thing your skin should touch.

An anatomical compression grip sock built for players who notice every movement inside the boot.
